BioART is the acronym for Bio Assisted Reproductive Technology.
BioART Fertility Centre was formally called the Nordica Fertility Centre. The roots of which originated from our affiliation with Nordica International in Denmark and the Herlev University Fertility Clinic in Copenhagen.
Our clinical standards are mirrored on the Danish model and this is manifested in the high success rate that the clinic persistently enjoys.

BioART is located in Saxonwold, Johannesburg. The premises is newly built and functionally yet beautifully designed. Oxford road day clinic is on the same premises and boasts state-of-the-art equipment and service.
A Lancet depot is also on premises thus ensuring that all aspects of treatment are done on site at the easiest convenience.
Our laboratory is managed by the strictest international standards and strives to ensure that it keeps abreast with all the latest technology.
We are also affiliated with the Durban University of Technology (DUT) and host embryology students for their practical training.
Our costing is highly competitive whilst still ensuring the highest quality of service standards.
The clinic also offers allied services, acupuncture and psychology. Our psychologist is highly qualified and has a PHD in psychology. Our acupuncturist has the largest series for treatment in infertility and has presented his data at International conferences.
Our doctors have over 50 years of cumulative experience in the field of infertility. We maintain collaboration with institutes world-wide and our staff have received training from leading fertility institutes world-wide, including Ciconia – Aarhus, Herlev University – Copenhagen and the Lister institute in the UK.
We are a Fertility Clinic specialising in all aspects of ART and are also keen on academia and strongly believe in the practice of evidence based medicine.
We have conducted numerous research projects and have published manuscripts and case reports in international journals. Our doctors have also been invited to present at numerous local and international conferences.
We have recently also established a research division and are the first fertility clinic in South Africa to be conducting trials using PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and autologous derived stem cells for ovarian rejuvenation and treatment of non-obstructive azoospermia.
