Each bedroom boasts percale linen, quality bath and beach towels, and fan. Sufficient heaters, hot water bottles and a Dover wood stove in the kitchen keep guests warm on chilly evenings.
With an emphasis on quiet country living, Ouma’s Villa has no TV but provides old fashioned board games and plenty of reading matter to keep you occupied. A fully equipped kitchen includes electric and wood-burning stoves, a large fridge and microwave which make cooking a pleasure.
Two large verandahs provide convivial gathering spots or a private space for meditation and contemplation.
A large fully enclosed garden with a variety of fruit trees and vines surrounds Ouma’s Villa and the mews.
The garden features a large pond which is home to endangered Clanwilliam Yellow Fish and rare tree frogs, and bird food is supplied for the great variety of birds that visit the garden daily.
Large trees provide shade for a hammock or comfy chair, while a private outdoor hot water shower and two barbecue areas complete the picture. Secure off-street parking for up to four vehicles is also supplied.
