Steel and Pipes for Africa is a national concern that has been trading for 14 years, operates 19 outlets throughout South Africa and is Southern Africa’s biggest supplier of Robor steel tubing (ISO & SABS certified) plus a wide range of first grade steel and high quality hardware products.
Steel & Pipes for Africa George came to being in March 2002 as the Steel & Pipes for Africa Group acquired a number of operations from the then Barloworld Robor Stewarts & Lloyds. We continue to trade from the premises previously occupied by Barloworld Robor, as these premises are well known, by George consumers, for quality steel tube and steel products.
Our George operation provides the greater Southern Cape and Karoo areas with a superior one-stop shop facility. We supply first grade hot rolled steel tube, plate, sheet, sections, galvanised sheet, pipe, open section and associated hardware products such as, ornamental castings, fencing components, welding consumables & accessories, paint (primers & enamels), locks, hinges, abrasives, hand & power tools, abrasives plus gate and remote control accessories.
